Betws-y-Coed Snowdonia

Whatever your travel plans, you really want to include visiting Betws-y-Coed the prettiest village in Snowdonia,
In this lively little village you’ll find so many fun,
interesting things to see and do, you won’t want to leave !

Many of the wonderful hotels and guest houses which offer accommodation and bed and breakfast were built during the Victorian era, and their remarkable architecture reflects this.
The buildings are marvelous big, strong buildings, filled with character and style.

It’s no wonder people flock to this charming little village.
There is a multitude of leisure activities in the village for visitors to revel in.

The famous Waterloo Bridge built in 1815, the same year the famous battle of Waterloo was fought.
�It spans the lovely River Conwy and is the main entrance and exit route to and from the village.
The impressive Swallow Falls are nearby and well worth a visit when the River Llugwy is in full flow.

There is a Golf course known as the Jewel of the Nines as it is only 9 holes and has fantastic scenery and the River Conwy running by. Visitors are very welcome to play.

A large central green with plenty of space allows visitors to relax and take a picnic .

If shopping is your thing then there is plenty of choice from the Woollen shops and the Station parade of craft shops and cafe’s.

Betws has two large Camping and caravan sites for those wishing to camp.

 

The Marin Trail mountain bike course is very close to Betws-y-Coed
